Tamara

Exercise Physiologist

My background is rehabilitation in which I worked for 11 years before joining the BODY FX team. My passion is keeping people active, happy and healthy no matter their age or ability.

I have a special interest in Pilates and women's health with a particular focus on delivering pelvic floor safe exercises for all ages and levels tailoring for rehabilitation, core strength, stability, balance and more. I believe every female should be adequately educated and supported through the physiological changes during their lifetime to achieve optimal health.

My spare time is kept busy and active with my 2 children, jogging, pilates, swimming, drinking coffee and visiting the beach.

Jason

Personal Trainer

I enjoy the variety that can be placed into workouts. Growing up, I played soccer from a young age and for many years after moving to Bathurst. Currently I still play touch football and love the speed of the game. You won't catch me out running for the sake of it without a ball.

On the weekends my wife Shannon and I enjoy watching our boys play soccer and enjoying a weekend coffee!

Sophie

Exercise Scientist

My background is in strength and conditioning and personal training, where I worked for five years while completing my undergraduate studies in Exercise and Sports Science. During this time, I learned the importance of building confidence, strength and enjoyment in training, qualities I believe are essential for creating positive, long-term change.

I am passionate about helping people stay active at every stage of life, regardless of experience, and ensuring they feel supported along the way. I believe movement should be accessible, empowering and tailored to the individual.

I have a special interest in injury prevention and helping you continue exercising safely around injuries. I am commencing a PhD focused on injury prevention in active youth, aiming to improve performance outcomes through early, targeted exercise programs.

In my spare time, I enjoy running with my dog or friends, spending time with loved ones, and enjoying a good cup of coffee.

Darcie

Exercise Physiologist

I grew being heavily involved in sports. Ranging from dancing, netball, athletics, swimming and all kinds of footy. Which started me off early with an active life and fostered my love for movement.

My interest in sport drove my passion for exercise and movement. My goal is to empower as many people as I can through movement. Helping people to be happier and healthier. I have particular interests in musculoskeletal injuries, sports injury prevention and rehabilitation, women’s health as well as pre and post natal exercise.

I have been fortunate enough to attend University here in Bathurst completing a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science (Honours) and a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology.

In my spare time I enjoy being active with my three boys, reading and training for leisure and sports.
